10 Quotes to get you through the day

Do you love to be inspired by quotes?

I spend a lot of time on the web—way more than I should. Yes, I should be thinking about romantic suspense or plot points, but sometimes my mind needs to disconnect. I find myself looking through quotes instead of pictures of hot guys…okay, maybe sometimes I’ll pin a few pictures of half-naked men, as you can tell from Pinterest or the bottom of this page.

Here are some quotes that have helped me get through a few rough spots:

You can have anything you want if you want it desperately enough. You must want it with an exuberance that erupts through the skin and joins the energy that created the world. ~ Sheila Graham

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn’t ~ Erica Jong

I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them ~ Pablo Picasso

Imagination and fiction make up more than three-quarters of our real life ~ Simone Weil

Things are only impossible until they’re not ~ Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek: The Next Generation

I’m creative – you can’t expect me to be neat too ~ Author Unknown

If you can imagine it, you can create it. If you dream it, you can become it ~William Arthur Ward

Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from doing what you can do ~ John Wooden

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced ~ Soren Kierkegaard

One who walks in another’s tracks leaves no footprints ~ Proverb

On that note, I’ll leave you with one last thought…

Sahara Roberts caught the writing bug early in life. She enjoys writing Romantic Suspense and Contemporary Romance. Her days are filled with international trade issues (the legal kind) and her evenings writing steamy romance set against the backdrop of deadly Mexican Cartels. Sahara lives in South Texas with her husband, who she lovingly refers to as Brat. She enjoys cooking, baking, and cake decorating, but she would certainly prefer to have someone else do the dishes. She's currently working on book 4 in the Dangerous Desires series and the first book in a contemporary romance series. For Tessa & Kris's story, read book 1, Desire and Deception. For Monica and Andres's story, read book 2, Secrets and Seduction. For Celeste & Rio's story, read book 3, Temptation and Treachery.
