If you’ve ever followed a blog hop you’ll realize how much you can learn about a book from the author’s blurb. The character can also easily lure you into their story once you learn how wonderful (or not) he is. This got me to thinking about having readers give some insight on their favorite Book Boyfriends. I included links to the books so you can add them to your personal favorites.
Remember to check for the Giveaway at the end of the post. You might get to meet a new book boyfriend for free. Happy reading!
Now for the juicy details. L. Guardiola’s Book Boyfriends:
The Lord of the Rings
Aragorn is chivalrous, heroic, and lordly. He is described as a remnant of “better days”. He’s an outsider and a badass as he comes into his own.
Homeland: The Legend of Drizzt
Drizzt is a nonconformist. He’s unafraid to stand for what he believes is right. His way of thinking makes him an outsider in his home realm. He leaves home where he is still an outsider and builds a reputation for being an honest and fair man – Not to mention he’s a badass!
Raistlin is the perpetual power hungry egocentric guy you love to hate. Behind a sickly thin, frail & cursed body he wields incredible power… A price to pay no less, but who wouldn’t want a guy like that on their side.
The Southern Vampire Mysteries, also known as The Sookie Stackhouse Novels
Leader of a group of vampires in his area. He knows what he wants and knows how to get it. Normally I’m not attracted to tall blonde and gorgeous, but I will make an exception for this viking any day.
The Vampire Chronicles
Truly ancient, he loves life, loves knowledge, even more, he’s an artist who has traveled the world, and I would love to spend time with him.
